On Saturday afternoon the Hungarian branch of the Estonian Institute welcomes everybody interested in knitting who wish to try the Estonian style .
The photographic exhibition "Countdown of Days" shows events in 2010 within the framework of "52 surprises and ideas", organised by the Foundation Tallinn 2011. The diverse weekly events counted days until the year 2011 when Tallinn and Turku became European culture capitals.
The chatroom is meant for everybody who wishes to practice their spoken Estonian or Finnish - an hour of Estonian and an hour of Finnish, every Monday at 6 p.m. in Estonian House.
Hunagry-based cultural institutes of European countries introduce the variety of European languages and cultures. The visitors can solve amusing language learning tasks, play language games and talk with people in their mother tongue.
An exhibition Stories of Home opens on 16 December at Nikolai Roerich Museum in St Petersburg. It shows the Dutch photographer Henri van Noordenburg's recordings of Estonian homes and people.
