The gallery was opened in early October. The Gallery is mostly supported by municipality and the contents are provided by the Viljandi Artists' Association Kiriküüt. The 200 square metre gallery is the first modern exhibition area in Viljandi. Exhibitions focus on contemporary Estonian art. Some exhibitions are planned to have additional undertakings (seminars, lecture series, workshops, etc.). Exhibitions alternate every one and a half to two months. Entrance is free.
