Guest Studios in Estonia

	The EAA guest studio The Estonian Artists' Association (EAA) offers foreign artists the possibility of using the guest studio in the Tallinn Art Hall, Vabaduse väljak 6. This light spacious studio has an area of ca 50 sq m, accommodating 2-3 people. The upper half-floor has living quarters with a kitchen corner. The lower floor contains the studio and shower. The price per day is 300 EEK per person. The EAA guest studio belongs to the exchange programme of guest studios by NIFCA (Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art). The studio is booked for artists from the Nordic countries for 6 months in the year. 	Kütioru Avatud Ateljee (Kütioru Open Studio) in South Estonian Haanja Nature Park - in the most impressive primeval valley in Estonia - is an ideal working environment for artists, writers and musicians who would appreciate the silence of forests and direct contact with nature. Living conditions are emphatically authentic - 'bronze age' (water from the spring, food cooked on open fires, etc) alongside some essentials of the post-industrial era (computers, etc.). Art projects including 1-3 people are preferred. 'Land Art Park', also at Kütiorg, now boasts 6 works by 8 artists from 6 countries. Only projects unanimously approved by the EAA art council are realised. EAA does not finance the projects, but if necessary it helps to apply for support from various foundations. Accommodation + catering in Kütioru Open Studio costs 300 EEK a day. EAA is a member of the Artists in Nature International Network.
