Idealism in Culture The Center for Contemporary Arts, Estonia (www.cca.ee) celebrated its 10th anniversary in spring 2003. One of its priorities are the publications introducing Estonian artists and art theory: books, exhibition catalogues, collections of theoretical articles.
The Center has started a new series, Addenda to Estonian art history (Lisandusi eesti kunstiloole) - collections of seminars and conferences. The texts are in Estonian, with English summaries. The designer of the series is Tiiu Allikvee.
The first collection of the series, Some Aspects in 1970s: Idealism in Culture (editor Sirje Helme, 95 pp, 2002) published papers by Sirje Helme, Andres Kurg, Vilen Künnapu, Eha Komissarov, Karin Paulus, Anders Härm and Berk Vaher read at the first seminar organised by CCAE - Idealism of the Culture Space of the 1970s.
